Vermont Signs GMO Label Bill Into Law
Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin signed a bill requiring foods with genetically modified ingredients to bear labels on Thursday. The law, which will be enforced in July 2016, faces a potential lawsuit from food manufacturers and federal legislation could stop states from attaching such labels.
